Berikut koleksi soalan2 berkaitan limit and stop order yang saya selalu dapat. Akan update lagi jika ada tambahan soalan baru yang belum jawab

20) Dalam trading platform waktu nak buat order ada 2 jenis price : Price and Stop Price. Apa beza dua nie and price apa nak input?

21) Saya nak beli saham X bila dia breakout above RM 1.00. Berapa nak set stop price and price?

22) Saya nak jual saham X if dia jatuh below RM 1.00. Berapa nak set stop price and price?

23) Boleh tak nak tukar option order jadi Good-till-Date? Supaya tak perlu repeat buat order tiap2 hari

FAQ LIMIT ORDER, STOP ORDER, AND MATCHING ORDERS

1) Apa tu limit order?

Limit order nie kita beri order pada broker / trading platform untuk beli / jual saham yang kita nak sampai satu tahap price yang kita nak

Limit order nie default option. So tiap kali you tekan buy / sell, by default you sedang guna limit order.

Limit order terbahagi dua : Limit buy and limit sell

2) Apa tu limit buy and limit sell?

Nie definisi. Wajib hafal & ingat.

Limit buy : Buy at whatever price upto the price we set

Limit sell : Sell at whatever price down to the price we set

3) Kalau saham X kita nak beli, latest price RM 1.00. Nak letak limit order berapa?

Letak paling rendah RM 1.00.
Paling tinggi ikut suka.

Kalau letak bawah RM 1.00 then dia tak match.
Or if letak betul2 RM 1.00 then if price saham X naik then possible untuk order kita tak match.

Recommended letak tinggi sikit dalam RM 1.05-1.10.
Price akan tetap match at lowest price possible.

4) Kalau saham X close dengan harga RM 1.00, and kita letak limit order RM 1.05, tapi tetiba esok pagi open gap RM 1.10, apa jadi pada order kita?

Tak match. Sebab dah melebihi harga yang kita set.

Ingat definisi limit buy : Buy at whatever price upto the price we set

5) Kalau last price saham X RM 1.00 dan kita letak limit buy RM 1.50 dia akan beli pada harga berapa?

Lowest price possible. Walaupun kita letak limit tu tinggi tapi dia tetap akan match harga yang rendah dulu.

Beli harga RM 1.00 dulu.
Kalau takde beli harga RM 1.05
Kalau takde beli harga RM 1.10
Kalau takde beli harga RM 1.15
dan seterusnya sampai limit RM 1.50
Atas dari RM 1.50 kita tak beli.

6) Kalau order tak match, kena buat order baru ke esoknya?

Mesti lah bang. Order yang kita buat, by default tahan untuk hari nie saja. Unless kita tukar option date order tu nak sampai bila.

Kena buat order baru untuk esok.

7) Apa maksud order tak match?

Order tersebut masuk, tapi price yang kita letak tak sesuai. Terlalu tinggi or terlalu rendah.

Contoh, harga saham X latest RM 1.00, tapi kita letak limit order untuk buy pada harga RM 0.90 (lebih rendah dari last price)

Konfem tak match.

8) Apa maksud order expired?

Order yang tak match sampai 5 pm akan expired. Kena buat order baru untuk esok. Lihat soalan 6.

9) Kalau last price RM 1.10, tapi kita letak limit sell pada harga RM 1.00, dia terus akan sell ke?

Yes terus akan sell.

Ingat definisi limit sell : Sell at whatever price down to the price we set.

10) Kalau last price RM 1.00, dan kita letak limit sell pada harga RM 0.80, dia akan sell pada harga berapa?

Highest price possible. RM 1.00.
Kalau takde, RM 0.95.
Kalau takde, RM 0.90.
Dan seterusnya sampai RM 0.80.
Bawah pada RM 0.80 dia tak jual.

11) Kalau kita letak limit sell pada harga RM 1.00, tapi price gap down sampai RM 0.80, adakah akan sell?

Tak sell. Sebab dah jatuh lagi lower dari limit sell you.

Option you sekarang adalah cancel that order, then buat order baru yang limit sell lagi rendah or sama dengan last price.

12) Macamana nak bagi order terus match? Contoh saya nak beli/jual saham X, taknak queue, nak terus match.

Tips nya :

1- Jangan tengok last price. Kalau nak buy tengok sell que price. Kalau nak sell tengok buy que price

2- SQ maksud lowest price someone beratur nak sell. BQ maksud highest price someone beratur nak buy.

3- Cara potong queue adalah you letak limit buy pada harga yang sama dengan SQ, bukan last price. Order akan terus match (potong queue)

Contoh last price RM 1.00, BQ RM 1.00, SQ RM 1.05, kalau you nak beli, letak limit buy RM 1.05, konfem terus match tanpa perlu queue

4- Sama jugak kalau nak sell, cara potong queue adalah you letak limit sell pada harga yang sama dengan BQ, bukan last price. Order akan terus match (potong queue)

Contoh last price RM 1.00, BQ RM 1.00, SQ RM 1.05, kalau you nak jual, letak limit sell RM 1.00, konfem terus match tanpa perlu queue

5- Ingat definisi limit buy and limit sell

Limit buy : Buy at whatever price upto the price we set

Limit sell : Sell at whatever price down to the price we set

13) Apa tu stop order?

Stop order nie kita beri order untuk buy/sell only IF price hit certain limit yang kita set

14) Apa definisi stopbuy and stopsell?

Stopbuy : Start buy only when price go up to certain price level that we set

Stopsell : Start sell only when price go down to certain price level that we set

**Stopsell are also more commonly known as stoploss

15) Platform mana yang ada stop order?

Untuk broker Malaysia, so far Mplus ada. Yang lain taktahu sebab saya tak pernah guna broker lain. Saya hanya guna Mplus dari first belajar trading sampai sekarang.

Setahu saya Maybank dah takde penggunaan stop order. Sebelum nie ada. Tak pasti kenapa dorang cancelkan.

Rakuten takde.

RHB dan lain2 platform tak pasti.

16) Macamana nak guna stop order dalam trading platform?

Tukar option “Limit” kepada “Stop Limit” sewaktu nak key in order Buy or Sell

17) Waktu bila trader perlu guna stopbuy order?

Bila expect price nak breakout. Set order siap2 dekat good breakout level then boleh tinggal pergi kerja, tidor dan lain2.

Order takkan hit selagi price tak capai that level. And order akan automatic trigger sebaik price capai that level.

18) Waktu bila trader perlu guna stoploss order?

Bila expect price nak jatuh dan kita takde masa nak monitor. Contoh last price saham X RM 1.00. Kita expect good support level dekat RM 0.95. Kita boleh set stoploss level dekat RM 0.90.

So if price jatuh ke tahap RM 0.90 dia akan terus trigger sell walaupun waktu tu kita tak tengok chart / tak bukak platform / sedang kerja / sedang tidor / sedang makan dan lain2.

Stoploss nie kira safety (atau macam airbags sewaktu accident)

19) Saya ada saham X, last price RM 1.10. Saya nak dia jual only if price jatuh ke paras RM 1.00. Tapi bila saya tekan sell, letak sell price RM 1.00 dia terus jual. Kenapa?

Sebab you guna limit order. Limit order adalah you beri arahan pada trading platform untuk jual at whatever price down to harga RM 1.00

Sepatutnya you kena ubah jadi stoploss order. Yang nie baru betul you bagi order pada trading platform kalau price jatuh ke RM 1.00 baru start jual.

Kena ingat definisi limit order and stop order. Kena tahu dan faham betul2 konsep dua nie.

20) Dalam trading platform waktu nak buat order ada 2 jenis price : Price and Stop Price. Apa beza dua nie and price apa nak input? (lihat gambar dalam soalan 16)

Dalam trading platform Mplus actually takleh buat stop order sahaja.

Hanya ada dua jenis order boleh buat :
Limit order
Stop-limit order (Stop order + Limit order)

Price tu adalah you punya limit price
Stop price tu adalah you punya stop order price

21) Saya nak beli saham X bila dia breakout above RM 1.00. Berapa nak set stop price and price?

Set stop price RM 1.00 (or above, eg RM 1.05 or RM 1.10)

Set price atas lagi dari tu (contoh RM 1.20 or RM 1.30) untuk memberi ruang order you untuk match

22) Saya nak jual saham X if dia jatuh below RM 1.00. Berapa nak set stop price and price?

Set stop price RM 1.00 (or lower, eg RM 0.95 or RM 0.90)

Set price rendah lagi dari tu (contoh RM 0.85 or RM 0.80 or RM 0.70) untuk memberi ruang order you untuk match

23) Boleh tak nak tukar option order jadi Good-till-Date? Supaya tak perlu repeat buat order tiap2 hari

Boleh tapi saya tak recommend. The reason saya tak recommend adalah sebab kadang2 decision kita berubah day by day.

Ada hari OK untuk beli, tapi boleh jadi esok dah tak OK.

The better option adalah untuk you tengok hari-hari dan buat decision on the spot, untuk hari tersebut sahaja. Better untuk guna day option instead of Good-till-date option
